Meghan and Joe tie the knot!!!

On Saturday, June 28th, 2008 Meghan and Joe tied the knot! It was a beautiful wedding that took place at Saint Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church (http://www.stbenedicttheabbot.com/) and the reception was at the Hilton Garden Inn (http://hiltongardeninn.hilton.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=PITSPGI) - Everything was beautiful! Check it out! Look for all images on our site in about 3- 4 weeks. (Images will be posted under "See my photographs"...

Look at this beautriful Bible.... It was one of the first things I noticed when I walked in the room the bride was to be dressed in. Gorgeous.... and from what I understand it is a family heirloom too!!!

Something blue.... LOVE LOVE LOVE the shoes! Way to go Meghan!

I LOVE this image of Meghan and her mom. It touches me in so many ways. I makes me want to get on a plane and fly to Brazil, just so I can hug my mom. Moms are so special ... NO ONE can replace them and how they make you feel. They are our angels on earth...

Still LOVE that "something blue!"

It stopped raining just long enough for us to get sme images outdoors! They turned out awesome and I had a GREAT time!..... Check out Vinny!

Congrats Meghan and Joe! Give me a call when you get back from your honeymoon! Can't wait to show all of these to you both!!!

PATIENTLY WAITING WITH LOVE

Anyone who has had a child knows that that last month is pretty tough. You are excited, scared, happy, nervous, and very very anxious! I know that from experience, that my second (my daughter) was much harder to wait for than my son, who came first. Perhaps I was more tiered...? Well, I can only image how this mom feels! What a beautiful family.... Check it out.

I name this image... "Patiently Waiting with love"

MY ANGELS

There is no love like the love a parent has for their child (or children) . . . I took this image very recently, of my parents with my children. Yes, we were having fun, enjoying the moment and capturing just that... the moment. My father has recently gone through quite a bit with surgeries and has been recovering and going through a lot of physical therapy, so this visit was quite a treat. Esp[ecially considering they came all the way from Brazil. My mom, remains strong as usual, and even when she is not, and I know when that is (yes I know her that well) she tells me all is fine. You see, my mom, like other moms, loves me and doesn't want me to worry. :-) My mom is also a strong woman, one that I admire and love tremendously, even with all our differences. I am much like my father, not only do I have his looks, but I carry on his personality in almost scary ways! (we are VERY alike) Thankfully, he also gave me his sense of buisness! :-)

So these are my children, Dylan is 8 and Christina is about to turn 6 on July 22.... and these are my parents Pedro and Christina (my husband named our daughter after my mom)

I am rich. Between my parents, husband and children, my account has endless funds. I wish you all well, that you are as fortunate as I. I was very lucky to be born to this family and to continue it so well.... afterall, it's like Forest Gump says, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."
I got a great box...

May God bless you and your family.

CANCER - Relay for Life 2008

CANCER.
We have all been touched by it, one way or another. I have lost many family members and friends to this. It does not discriminate . . . it shows up regardless of age, gender, political view, religion, financial status..... it shows up.

I have lost grandparents, many family members and most recently a very dear friend. It's sad but we HAVE TO fight it. Every effort counts. A few months ago I photographed an event for the American Cancer Society (for their fundraiser) and then just a few weeks ago, on my way home from a job, I stopped and grabbed some shots at Peters Township High School during their Relay for Life event. It was emotional and moving. I sent the images off to the American Cancer Society but thought I'd post some here. If you have never taken part in one of these events, I suggest you help, take part or volunteer to help.... every little bit helps, and every person there makes a difference. I want to personally thank everyone there that showed up... I may not know every single one of you personally, but I am glad that you took time out of your busy schedule to participate. AND.... hope to see you all next year too!!!
